Can I get from the airport straight onto a high-speed train?

Yes, with one change of platform rather than of city. The Cercanías C1 stops at the airport and reaches Málaga María Zambrano in about eight minutes, and Renfe lists that station as its high-speed hub with onward AVE connections. It is the shortest airport-to-AVE hop of any airport on this site.

Do I have to go outside to move between T1, T2 and T3?

No. Aena publishes the three as a single passenger terminal area — T3 was the building that joined T1 and T2 together — so moving between them is an indoor walk, not a transfer. Priority Pass relies on the same fact when it tells T2 passengers they can reach the lounge in T3.

Line A into Paseo del Parque costs €4 for a single, luggage included, and the metropolitan transport consortium publishes the same €4 fare on its card tariff. It puts you nearer the seafront than the train does.

Aena recommends three hours before a non-Schengen departure and two hours before a domestic or Schengen one. Read the screens for your check-in desk rather than heading for a fixed row: Aena assigns them by flight, not by airline.

There is a quiet room, but it is not a lounge you walk into: it is requested at Passenger Service and given subject to availability. Aena also lists rest areas in modules B, C and D, and drinking fountains spread across the zones.

Family toilets with changing tables, and free pushchairs lent for boarding and disembarking so you can gate-check your own. The terminal guidance system will give you a walking route with an estimated time, which matters more than it sounds when the gate is at the far end of a building this long.

Aena names Taxi Unión and Unitaxi, and both confirm airport transfers on their own sites. Fares follow the regional tariff set by the Junta de Andalucía rather than the driver, but the airport supplement published by the 2026 regional resolution and the one still shown on Aena’s page do not match — check the current figure before you ride.
