Getting around DEL
Delhi splits its three terminals by function rather than by airline. Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 handle domestic flights only; Terminal 3 is the sole gateway for international traffic, alongside a domestic slice of its own. A free shuttle links all three around the clock, T2 and T3 sit close enough to walk between in about ten minutes, and the Airport Express Line of the Delhi Metro runs directly into T3, reaching New Delhi Railway Station in roughly 25 minutes. Entry itself follows a ticket and a clock: domestic passengers can walk in any time on the day of travel, international passengers up to eight hours ahead, and anyone without a ticket needs a paid Visitor Entry pass, sold only at Terminal 3.
