Getting around MAN
Manchester has two terminals, not three. Terminal 1 closed on 19 November 2025 after more than sixty years, and parts of its building — including the entrance and security hall — were rebranded as part of Terminal 3 on 5 March 2026. Terminal 3 itself is not new: it has been open for decades, and the two buildings are connected in places. Around three quarters of passengers now fly from Terminal 2; Terminal 3 is used by Ryanair only. Both terminals connect to the railway station and the tram stop by the Skylink walkway.
