Manchester Airport sits nine miles south of the city centre, and its two terminals — Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 — stand either side of The Station, the interchange where trains, trams, coaches and buses arrive. The shaded buildings on the map are the terminals as they operate today: the base OpenStreetMap layer still draws a Terminal 1, which closed on 19 November 2025, so our verified layer is painted on top with the current names. Terminal 3 is about a five-minute walk from the station and Terminal 2 about ten, both along the covered Skylink walkway; walking between the two terminals takes 5 to 15 minutes, with moving walkways on parts of the route.
The shaded buildings are the terminals as they operate today, with names verified by us — the base map’s own labels can lag behind reality. Blue P squares mark the official car parks that publish a name; the dark square is the station.
