Terminal Building
Bournemouth’s only passenger building, used by four carriers — Ryanair, Jet2, TUI and a winter easyJet service to Geneva — flying seasonal leisure routes. OpenStreetMap maps it as two separate structures, Departures and Arrivals, which matches how the airport itself gives directions: Premium Car Park 1 sits “directly opposite the Departures building”, while taxi desks and pay stations are inside the “arrivals terminal building”.
Check-in desks open 2–3 hours before departure. The airport recommends arriving at least 2 hours ahead even with online check-in already done.
A new scanner lets passengers keep liquids (up to 2,000ml) and laptops in hand luggage without separating them out. A paid Fast Track lane — from £7 per person, booked by 10pm the night before — gives priority through security.
Nothing to transfer between: Departures and Arrivals are simply the two ends of the same building, not separate terminals a passenger would ever need to cross the airport for.
Book assistance through the airline at least 48 hours ahead. Passenger Assistance waiting areas sit next to Check-In Desk 12, the Departure Lounge, and both the International and Domestic Arrivals halls; free wheelchairs and fully equipped accessible toilets are available throughout the building, and assistance dogs are welcome inside under the Pets Travel Scheme.
