England’s third largest regional airport puts everything under one roof: eleven airlines share a single terminal, led by easyJet, Ryanair, Jet2.com and TUI, with KLM’s Amsterdam link as the main hub connection. A £400m transformation programme is under way, starting with a bigger departure lounge.
easyJet, Ryanair, TUI and Jet2.com run self-service bag drop kiosks in the hall, and all four offer twilight bag drop the evening before an early flight. Plan to be in the building two hours ahead — more if your car is going to Silver Zone.
Bristol already applies the new liquids regime: containers up to 2 litres, left inside your bag, with no clear plastic bag needed — but the airport you fly home from may still use the old rules. A paid Fast Track channel operates as a dedicated lane before 8am and a priority lane after.
There is no railway station on site. Trains are reached at Bristol Temple Meads via the A1 Flyer bus (or at Worle via the A3), GWR sells combined rail-and-bus tickets that treat «Bristol Airport (A1 Bristol)» as a station, and a rail ticket machine stands on the Arrivals concourse.
Tell your airline or travel agent 48 hours before departure if you need assistance. Inside the building there is a Sensory Room in the departure lounge, and blue badge bays sit in the Multi-Storey, Short Stay and Silver Zone car parks.
