Getting around EZE
Ministro Pistarini — everyone just calls it Ezeiza — is Argentina’s main international gateway, 22 km from Buenos Aires on the Autopista Teniente General Riccheri. It does not split passengers between a numbered Terminal 1 and Terminal 2: the airport’s own specs sheet names three separate buildings by what happens inside them — Terminal B (27,000 m²) for every departing flight, the international arrivals hall (56,000 m², 22 km from Buenos Aires) and the domestic arrivals hall (21,000 m²) — plus Terminal A, an older name still used today only as the pickup point for every authorised taxi and remis. There is no train to Ezeiza; getting there means driving, an official remis, a shuttle, or one of four local bus lines. In 2025 the airport handled 11.9 million passengers, up 7% on 2024, according to Argentina’s civil aviation authority, ANAC.
