La Aurora International Airport sits inside Guatemala City itself, in Zona 13, rather than on the outskirts — its single passenger terminal building, a two-level structure, is the whole of the airport that travellers pass through. There is no dedicated airport train or metro. Uber runs pickup and drop-off at the terminal (its own taxi-hailing product is not offered here, so rideshare is the app-based option), and Tabarini Rent-a-Car lists La Aurora Airport as one of its own pickup and return counters. Two hotel chains publish verified airport access on their own sites: Barceló Guatemala City, 1.5 miles away, and Wyndham Garden Guatemala City, four kilometres away with its own paid shuttle.
