Self-service bag drop takes checked bags up to 20 kg; anything heavier goes to a staffed counter. Kiosks near check-in print boarding passes and bag tags.

The security checkpoint (and bag drop) closes after the last evening departure and reopens around 04:00.

Domestic transfer — arriving from abroad and continuing within Norway without collecting luggage — runs 07:00–23:00 daily through a dedicated yellow area next to gate D2, and only for through-ticketed passengers on Air Baltic, Air France, Atlantic Airways, Emirates, LOT, Norwegian, SAS, TAP, KLM or Widerøe.

Book assistance at least 48 hours ahead. Without a pre-booking you may wait up to 30 minutes for help; with reduced-mobility needs, arrive 2 hours before a domestic/Schengen flight or 2.5 hours before one outside Schengen.

Airlines granting access to OSL Lounge International (Air Baltic, Air France, British Airways, Emirates, Finnair, Icelandair, KLM, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines and others) require a valid boarding pass for an international flight the same day.

Every summer, eight of the domestic gates are relabelled G1–G8 to absorb peak-morning Schengen traffic; a shuttle bus to the G-gate area starts running two hours before the first flight from there and departs every three minutes.

Same 48-hour advance-notice rule and airport-wide assistance service as the domestic side; the quiet room at gate A10 is open to all faiths and is also used for weddings.
