Marco Polo’s map has a building most airports here do not: the Water Terminal, a small covered dock a short walk from the main terminal and joined to it by a moving walkway, where the Alilaguna boat lines and private water taxis leave for Venice. The single passenger terminal, shaded and named from the airport’s own pages, sits beside it — the airport does not split its building into numbered halves. Blue P squares mark the named public car parks; P1 and P4 are the two the airport says connect directly to both the terminal and the Water Terminal by lift and covered walkway. There is no railway station on this map — the nearest ones, Venezia Mestre and Venezia Santa Lucia, are reached by bus from outside the terminal doors, not shown here.
