Getting around ABZ
Aberdeen keeps its passenger operation inside a single terminal, open around the clock — but the airport is also a working heliport for the North Sea energy industry, with one offshore fixed-wing terminal and three helicopter terminals besides the passenger building, used by four operators (Bristow, CHC, NHV and OHS) flying crews out to the oil and gas platforms. There is no railway station on site: the nearest, Dyce, is about two miles away, so the real connection into the city is the Jet 727 bus, relaunched by Stagecoach in May 2026 as Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire’s first continuous 24-hour route, running every 15 minutes on electric buses. Eleven airlines fly scheduled routes, led by easyJet, Ryanair, Loganair and TUI.
Into the city
The Jet 727 runs 24/7 every 15 minutes on electric buses — no train station on site to compete with it.
Parking and offshore workers
Four official products, including a discounted Offshore rate for crews flying from the heliports.
Lounges
The locally-themed Northern Lights lounge is open; the British Airways lounge is closed for refurbishment.
