Terminal 2
Opened in 1990 as a domestic terminal, Terminal 2 was reconfigured into a purely international terminal for Sweden’s 2001 Schengen entry, then fully refurbished in May 2013 — 2,500 new square metres of shops and transit space, plus the Sky Bridge linking it into SkyCity and the Clarion hotel.
Security
Checkpoint open daily 04:00–21:00, with Fast Track available (book through your airline). Liquids must come out of your hand baggage in a one-litre bag, 100 ml per container.
From the train & tram station
Part of the “Arlanda South” train stop it shares with Terminal 3 — Arlanda Express links South to Terminal 5’s “Arlanda North” for free in about a minute, outside security.
Changing terminals
A Schengen transfer bus connects Gate 61C here with Gate F5 in Terminal 5 via the corridor at Transfer Gate T11, running 05:30–22:00 with a pickup within 20 minutes of pressing the call button.
Accessibility
PRM assistance is a free legal right: notify your airline 48 hours ahead to guarantee a meeting time, or press the call button at the terminal’s Help Point up to two hours before departure if you didn’t pre-book.

Terminal 3
Swedavia’s own pages never give Terminal 3 a separate history entry — every official mention groups it with Terminal 2 as “Arlanda South”, sharing that terminal’s train stop, drop-off signage and pick-up point.
Security
Its checkpoint has no fixed daily block: it opens 1.5 hours before each departure and closes during a traffic stop if one happens that day. Same liquids rule as Terminal 2 — 100 ml containers in a one-litre bag.
From the train & tram station
Shares the “Arlanda South” stop with Terminal 2; the free Arlanda Express hop to Terminal 5’s “Arlanda North” takes about a minute, outside security.

Terminal 4
The airport’s first purpose-built domestic terminal, inaugurated in 1983 as “Domestic Terminal 1” — SAS and Linjeflyg moved their domestic flights here from Bromma on 1 January 1984. Today it sits between the Arlanda South terminals and SkyCity.
From the train & tram station
Arlanda Central Station sits in the heart of SkyCity, between Terminal 4 and Terminal 5 — the commuter, regional and long-distance trains all stop there.
Changing terminals
The free long-stay parking buses (P2 Beta and P3 Alfa) both stop here and at Terminal 2 — not at Terminal 3 or 5 — and the car-rental area is reached the same way. Several regional coach operators (UL, Ybuss, Härjedalingen/Masexpressen) also call only at Terminal 2 and 4.

Terminal 5
The original international terminal, inaugurated in 1976 as “Arlanda International”. A fourth level was added for the 2001 Schengen split, and a third pier followed the 1998 groundbreaking for Runway 3. It is “Arlanda North” on the internal train map.
Security
The new “5F” checkpoint (it inherited the name from an earlier lane) runs CT scanners: 100 ml containers of liquid can stay in your hand baggage, in any number, with no one-litre bag required — unlike Terminal 2 and 3. Open daily 03:45–22:00, or from 2 hours before departure for flights leaving before 05:00. Fast Track available.

“Arlanda North” — a free, roughly one-minute Arlanda Express hop from the shared “Arlanda South” stop at Terminals 2 and 3, outside security.
Changing terminals
Schengen transfers to/from Terminal 2 run via a bus between Gate F5 here and Gate 61C in Terminal 2 (through Transfer Gate T11); non-Schengen transfers run between Gate F1 and Gate 70 in Terminal 2. Both operate 05:30–22:00, arriving within 20 minutes of a call-button press.
Accessibility
The same PRM policy applies here. Taxis with a Swedavia contract wait directly outside the arrivals hall at this terminal.
