The map explains Atlanta better than any paragraph: the Domestic Terminal and its check-in halls sit at the west end, the Maynard H. Jackson International Terminal at the east end, and between them run the seven parallel concourses — T, A, B, C, D, E and F — like rungs on a ladder. Underground, the Plane Train links them all airside in about two minutes per stop; above ground the two ends are a 15-minute free shuttle apart. The MARTA station into the city is inside the Domestic Terminal at its west end, and the dark squares mark the rail stations, including the Gateway stop for the SkyTrain hotels. Blue P squares pick out the parking decks the airport lists by name — more than 30,000 public spaces in all.
The shaded buildings are the terminals as they operate today, with names verified by us — the base map’s own labels can lag behind reality. Blue P squares mark the official car parks that publish a name; the dark square is the station.
