Getting around BCN
Barcelona’s airport works as two separate starting points, not one continuous terminal. T1 and T2 are joined only by Aena’s free landside shuttle: current intervals vary from 5 to 10 minutes by time band, and the independently cross-checked T1-to-T2 ride is 10 minutes. The R2 Nord railway station is beside T2, so a train trip from T1 begins on that bus. Metro L9 Sud has a stop at each terminal, but its airport stations use special ticket rules — T-casual and T-grup are not valid there. Aerobús also splits by building: A1 serves T1 and A2 serves T2. BCN recorded 57,483,036 passengers in 2025.
