Everything at Birmingham Airport sits inside the single terminal building that replaced its old Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 back in 2011. Premium Set Down and the Free Set Down area flank the entrances — the free one by the entry and exit barriers, the premium one by the disabled parking bays, with 30 minutes free for Blue Badge holders. Car Parks 1 and 2 sit on the ground floor near those same accessible bays, Car Park 5 runs its own accessible shuttle bus between Entrance C and the arrivals door, and the Car Hire Village is a short walk further out. Across the forecourt, Birmingham International railway station connects by the Air-Rail Link — a free automated monorail reached from the station’s first floor, next to its own entrance — in under two minutes, no road crossing required.
