Getting around CPH
Copenhagen Airport calls its two buildings Terminal 2 and Terminal 3, but they behave as one: a single security checkpoint sits between them, feeding a single airside where every shop, restaurant and gate shares the same roof. Most airlines — 59 of the airport’s 63 — check in at Terminal 2; only four check in at Terminal 3, though one of them is SAS, the biggest carrier here by far. What makes Terminal 3 the one to know is what is built into it: the M2 metro station and the InterCity railway platforms sit in direct extension of the building, and the same trains carry on across the Øresund Bridge to Malmö, in Sweden. The airport carried a record 32.4 million passengers in 2025.
