Dublin’s passenger buildings form a close pair: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are about five minutes apart on foot, with connection gates kept under one roof. The border sequence is less obvious on an outdoor map. U.S. passengers continue inside Terminal 2 to Preclearance on the ground floor beyond airport security, where immigration, customs and agriculture checks take place before departure. There is no direct railway station to mark, so the kerbside bus zones matter: Dublin Express calls at Zones 1 and 21, while Aircoach uses Zones 2 and 20. The two coloured footprints are the passenger-terminal buildings identified in OpenStreetMap and checked against the airport’s own terminal and connection guides.
The shaded buildings are the terminals as they operate today, with names verified by us — the base map’s own labels can lag behind reality. Blue P squares mark the official car parks that publish a name; the dark square is the station.
