Everything at Edinburgh Airport radiates from the plaza in front of its single terminal: the tram stop sits right there beside the giant Edinburgh sign, the bus stops line the forecourt, and across the plaza is the East Terminus, home to the taxi rank and the drop-off point of the Plane Parking shuttle. The multi-storey car park faces the building — charged pick-up and drop-off on its ground floor, the covered walkway to the car hire centre along its side, the coach park to its south. The remaining car parks sort themselves by walking time: Terminal surface parking at 2 minutes, Mid Stay at 5, and Long Stay at 10–12 via the walking route from its north end, while FastPark’s valet lanes sit under a minute from check-in. One thing the map will not show is a railway station — mainline trains are caught by riding the tram to Edinburgh Gateway, Edinburgh Park or Haymarket.
The shaded buildings are the terminals as they operate today, with names verified by us — the base map’s own labels can lag behind reality. Blue P squares mark the official car parks that publish a name; the dark square is the station.
