East Midlands Airport is one building doing two jobs: by day a single passenger terminal for five airlines, and by night the UK’s busiest express air-freight hub — the cargo apron and DHL, UPS and FedEx sheds sit off to the side and are left unlabelled here, since this map is about passengers, not freight. Meet & Greet parking is just across the road from the terminal, Short Stay wraps around it at a 1–5 minute walk, and the coach station — where every Skylink bus, coach and taxi starts — sits right next to the building. No platform appears on this map, because none was ever built here: reaching a train means riding a Skylink bus onward to Derby, Nottingham or East Midlands Parkway. Further out, Mid Stay is a 5–7 minute walk and Long Stay and JetParks are reached by free shuttle, at 3–5 and 12–15 minutes respectively.
The shaded buildings are the terminals as they operate today, with names verified by us — the base map’s own labels can lag behind reality. Blue P squares mark the official car parks that publish a name; the dark square is the station.
