Guayaquil keeps to one outline on this map because it only has one terminal building — international and domestic passengers share the same two-storey structure, on Avenida de las Américas within the city’s own northern urban perimeter rather than out on a bypass. There is no rail line or tram to show: the roads around the shaded building are what everyone uses, from the authorised taxi rank at the arrivals doors to the six rental-car counters inside the same hall. The runway sits just south of the terminal, 2,684 metres of designated 03/21 asphalt at only 6 metres above sea level — Guayaquil is coastal, not mountain-ringed like some of its Andean neighbours.
The shaded buildings are the terminals as they operate today, with names verified by us — the base map’s own labels can lag behind reality. Blue P squares mark the official car parks that publish a name; the dark square is the station.
