Getting around KRK
Kraków Airport has a single passenger terminal, 11 km west of the city centre by the A4 motorway. Its own railway station sits directly behind the P1 car park, joined to the terminal by a covered footbridge — SKA1 trains (Koleje Małopolskie) reach Kraków Główny in about 20 minutes for PLN 20, and continue to the Wieliczka Salt Mine. The same footbridge pattern repeats for the only hotel on site, the Hilton Garden Inn, 40 metres away. Kraków Airport Taxi is the sole official taxi operator, charging flat zone fares instead of a meter, and public buses (lines 209, 300 and night line 902) reach the centre in about 45 minutes. The largest regional airport in Poland, it handled 13.2 million passengers in 2025 according to its own monthly statistics.
