The railway station is at the South Terminal: take the free inter-terminal shuttle — every few minutes, 24 hours a day — and you are there in two minutes.

The shuttle to South Terminal is free, driverless and takes two minutes, running around the clock; luggage trolleys are allowed on board. A signed walking route between the terminals also exists.

The station is inside the terminal, about a five-minute walk from both departures and arrivals — four operators serve it, from the non-stop Gatwick Express to Thameslink and Southern.
