Terminal Único
Jorge Chávez has had exactly one passenger terminal since 1 June 2025 — no letter or compass direction to pick. Inside it, the airport’s own directory of shops groups the building into a domestic zone (“Marketplace Nacional”) and an international one (“Marketplace Internacional”), plus a third boarding pier it simply labels “Dique Swing” without explaining which flights use it.
For a domestic departure, be at the airline counter two hours before your flight — the airport’s own example: an 08:00 flight to Cusco means arriving by 06:00. A new island of 30 self-service kiosks opened in March 2026, bringing the terminal to 123 check-in kiosks in total (120 regular counters plus 3 for oversized baggage).
Braille signage, a tactile floor route, electric courtesy carts, family restrooms and alternative ramps/lifts run through the whole building — the airport calls itself the first in Peru with terminal-wide accessibility. Free help at the Information Modules: Peruvian sign language, wheelchair and stroller loans, sunflower lanyards, and extra time to disembark via the Fast Lane at Gate 2, Floor 3.
