The useful way to read Chennai’s long terminal frontage is by role, not by numerical sequence. The current AIP chart marks T1 as domestic, the integrated T2 as Anna International, and T4 as domestic; there is no active passenger-terminal label for T3. On the city side, Airport Metro station connects to the East and West multi-level car parks. Covered walkalators and electric buggies connect that transport spine with the terminal row, while Tirusulam suburban station lies about 200 metres from the Metro’s entrance A through the subway. One warning for the map audit: OpenStreetMap still names T4 “Anna International Terminal 4”, a historical label contradicted by current AAI sources.
The shaded buildings are the terminals as they operate today, with names verified by us — the base map’s own labels can lag behind reality. Blue P squares mark the official car parks that publish a name; the dark square is the station.
