Inside each terminal

Check-in, security, the station link and how to change terminals — verified against the airport's own pages.

Terminal de pasajeros

A single three-floor building — no separate terminals to choose between. The ground floor (primer piso) holds arrivals, rental-car counters and the public bus stop at puerta 2; the second floor (segundo piso) is the main check-in and ticketing hall, split into Salas Nacionales and Salas Internacionales; the third floor (tercer piso) holds the two VIP lounges and several restaurants.

Check-in

Airline counters and sales offices sit on the segundo piso, hall principal — avianca at L2097, Latam at L2095–L2096 — with a few airlines, such as Aeroméxico, keeping ground-floor offices instead.

Security

Colombia’s RAC 160 sets what can travel in hand baggage; security screens bags at the entrance to the boarding lounges, and liquids, creams, gels or aerosols over 100 ml on international flights must go in checked baggage.

Accessibility

The Servicio de Atención al Usuario (SAU) desk on the second floor helps with lost property, directions to airline counters and general orientation, 24 hours a day. Migración Colombia, at the same public hall, has enrolled travellers in Biomig — a free, voluntary biometric check-in for Colombians over 12 — since September 2023.
