Terminal 1

The main terminal — almost every airline serving Marseille flies from here, from Air France and Lufthansa to Turkish Airlines and Vueling. Its hall was rebuilt in 2024 (Foster+Partners) around a wood-canopied “cœur d’aéroport” that pays homage to the original 1961 building by Fernand Pouillon, and it holds both of the airport’s lounges.

Check-in

A single check-in zone replaced the old two-hall layout: 75 desks, with 20 self-service kiosks added alongside them.

Security

Every passenger funnels through one security checkpoint with 18 screening lanes and automatic tray return.

From the train & tram station

The LeBus+13 shuttle reaches Vitrolles Aéroport station in about five minutes from the airport’s bus station, running every day of the year.

Accessibility

PHMR (reduced-mobility) assistance costs nothing, but your airline needs the request logged 48 hours before departure at the latest.

Terminal 2

The low-cost terminal, opened in 2006 as “MP2” — the first dedicated low-cost terminal in Europe. Only three airlines fly from it: Aer Lingus, easyJet (its Bordeaux route flies from Terminal 1 instead) and Ryanair. There is no lounge here; both of the airport’s lounges are across at Terminal 1.
