Inside each terminal

Check-in, security, the station link and how to change terminals — verified against the airport's own pages.

Terminal 1

The Lufthansa Group’s base in Nice — Lufthansa, SWISS and Austrian Airlines all fly from here, alongside British Airways, Turkish Airlines and Ryanair (41 airlines by the official list). Over forty shops and restaurants sit landside from the tram exit and airside.

Security

Self-service tax-refund PABLO kiosks sit in the arrivals hall, near the Customs office, opposite the Information Desk — validate your form here before security, not after.

From the train & tram station

Nice Saint-Augustin train station is less than 500 metres away: a dedicated pedestrian walkway, signed from Exit A0, takes 7 minutes on foot. Regional trains run every 15 minutes to Cannes, Monaco and Menton.

Changing terminals

A free tram (lines 2 and B) links Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 in under 3 minutes, running every 7–8 minutes on weekdays.

Accessibility

Special assistance is free under EU rules — notify your airline at least 48 hours ahead. Sunflower lanyards for invisible disabilities are available on request at the terminal’s information desk.

Terminal 2

Air France’s home terminal — the flag carrier flies from here with its SkyTeam partners Delta and KLM, alongside easyJet, Emirates and Etihad (32 airlines by the official list). Its 2025 extension added a new dock with 6 boarding and arrival gates and 36 check-in desks, raising the two terminals’ theoretical capacity from 14 to 18 million passengers a year — since April 20 that has meant new check-in and boarding routes, so the airport advises checking your gate carefully.

Security

Self-service tax-refund PABLO kiosks sit in the arrivals hall, near the Customs office, opposite gate A3.

From the train & tram station

The airport signs the pedestrian walkway to Nice Saint-Augustin station from Terminal 1’s Exit A0; from Terminal 2, take the free tram (lines 2 and B) across to Terminal 1 first, then follow that 7-minute walkway.

Changing terminals

The same free tram (lines 2 and B) reaches Terminal 1 in under 3 minutes, running every 7–8 minutes on weekdays.

Accessibility

Special assistance is free under EU rules — notify your airline at least 48 hours ahead. Sunflower lanyards for invisible disabilities are available on request at the terminal’s information desk.
