Inside each terminal

Check-in, security, the station link and how to change terminals — verified against the airport's own pages.

Terminal

A single terminal building carries the whole operation. Departures — check-in, security, the Fast Track lane, the Prima Vista Lounge and a 24-hour first-aid post — sit on the 1st floor; arrivals, the bus stops and the car-rental pickup area are on the ground floor. The railway station is built into the terminal’s basement.

Check-in

Check-in is on the 1st floor. Check-in Area B is the only one named in the airport’s own pages — it is where the Prima Vista Lounge and the first-aid post sit.

Security

Standard EU screening applies: boarding card ready, liquids in a resealable 1-litre bag with containers up to 100ml, laptops and other electronics out of hand luggage. A paid Fast Track lane on the 1st floor skips the ordinary queue — active daily from 4:40am to 9:30pm, €10 at the self-service kiosk or €9 booked online, boarding card required; under-12s with an authorised adult go through free.

From the train & tram station

The railway station is in the terminal’s basement. The service runs every day; Trenitalia publishes the timetables and fares.

Accessibility

PRM assistance follows EU Regulation 1107/2006 (ENAC Circular GEN 02A): request it from your airline at least 48 hours ahead, free of charge. The Special Assistance Lounge has free wi-fi, and call points sit at the terminal entrances and in the dedicated PRM car park; a set number of free disabled bays (marked H) sit right in front of the terminal, reached through the ZTC.
