Inside each terminal

Check-in, security, the station link and how to change terminals — verified against the airport's own pages.

Terminal A

The original open-air terminal under Punta Cana’s signature cana-palm roofs. Its VIP lounge spans two levels with capacity for 200 guests (open daily 8:00–23:00), and the VIP reception sits in the check-in area next to the ATMs.

Check-in

Your terminal is assigned per flight, not per airline — confirm which one on your booking before heading in. Digital check-in kiosks serve several airlines in both terminals.

Security

VIP FastTrack (bookable) escorts you through check-in, security and the immigration lanes. Every passenger, VIP or not, needs the government’s free digital E-Ticket completed before departure.

Changing terminals

Terminals A and B are separate buildings, each with its own parking lot and arrivals area — allow taxi-level time if you end up at the wrong one.

Accessibility

Breastfeeding rooms and kids’ zones in both terminals; a medical and restroom area sits in Terminal B arrivals.

Terminal B

The newer terminal, past its own food court. The VIP lounge holds 135 guests (open daily 8:00–21:00) with reception before the security process; arrivals include a medical and restroom area.

Check-in

Assigned per flight — check your booking. Kiosks for several airlines reduce the check-in queue.

Security

VIP FastTrack available; the free government E-Ticket is mandatory for every passenger, on arrival and departure.

Changing terminals

A separate building from Terminal A with its own parking and kerb — confirm your terminal before the taxi drops you.

Accessibility

Medical and restroom area in arrivals; breastfeeding room and kids’ zone as in Terminal A.
