Passenger terminal
One compact building handles the passenger journey. The airport’s map runs from the shared departure entrance through one security search to Gates 1–9, while the first floor holds the Spitfire Lounge. Most of the airport is on one level, with a lift into that upper departure-lounge area.
The Spitfire Lounge is in Departures after security and passport control, on the first floor. Its current hours disagree across two live sources, so check before travelling.
Southampton Airport Parkway is 99 steps from the terminal and less than a minute away over the footbridge. A lift serves passengers with luggage or reduced mobility; South Western Railway describes the link as a one-minute walk with no shuttle.
Put the assistance request into the airline booking no later than 48 hours before the journey. The desk is opposite check-in, with call points at the Short Stay pick-up/drop-off area and terminal doors; accessible toilets are available on the main concourse and in Departures.
