Vienna’s passenger operation is concentrated in one connected complex: a central arrivals hall faces the check-in areas, so Terminal 1, Terminal 1A, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 should not be imagined as four distant buildings. Airlines currently assign check-in to T1, T1A or T3. T2 sits in the departure flow as the central security and services area for the B, C and D gate groups, while T3 leads to F and G. Beneath the landside side of the complex, the airport railway platforms are linked to arrivals by a short, weather-protected, step-free route. Car Parks 3 and 4 have direct sheltered terminal access, with P3 recommended for T1/T1A and P4 for T3.
