Ahmedabad’s two passenger terminals sit inside the same perimeter nine kilometres north of the city, in Hansol — Terminal 1 handling domestic departures and Terminal 2 the international side, with IndiGo and Akasa Air splitting flights across both depending on the day. A free shuttle links them around the clock, picking up from the “Drop & Go” area outside each terminal’s arrivals hall; pad a same-day connection here, since two to three hours suits a domestic pairing while three to four hours suits an itinerary where one flight is international. A third building on the map, left unlabelled here because it isn’t open to scheduled passengers, is the airport’s cargo terminal — OpenStreetMap files it informally as “Terminal 3”, shorthand that only refers to freight, not people. The two labelled outlines match how the airport itself refers to them, not just whatever name OpenStreetMap happened to store.
