BER runs two passenger buildings side by side south of Berlin: Terminal 1, the main building, sits directly over the "Flughafen BER" railway station and handles most scheduled traffic; Terminal 2, finished in 2020 but left empty until 24 March 2022, now hosts Ryanair and other carriers, though it has no gates, driveway or taxi rank of its own — its passengers cross into Terminal 1 on foot, a walk of about five minutes via the arrivals level. A third building shown unlabelled on the map, east of the two terminals, is the former Schönefeld Airport, which briefly ran on as "Terminal 5" after BER opened and has been shut since the airport company decided, at the end of 2022, not to reopen it. The shaded buildings are the two terminals as they operate today, named from our own verification, not from what OpenStreetMap happens to call them.

The shaded buildings are the terminals as they operate today, with names verified by us — the base map’s own labels can lag behind reality. Blue P squares mark the official car parks that publish a name; the dark square is the station.
