A journey that remains inside Schengen normally continues without border control. If the gate is in the T zone, follow the flight information and expect passport control despite still being in Pier A.

There is no separate Pier A station. Descend through the shared terminal to Brussels Airport-Zaventem on level -1; the platforms themselves are on level -2.

Connector joins Pier A, Pier B and the common departure and arrival halls. Crossing from a Schengen itinerary to a non-Schengen one adds border control, so follow the gate letter rather than looking for another terminal building.

Have the carrier record your assistance request no later than 48 hours before take-off. The station and terminal are linked by lifts as well as escalators.

Leaving Schengen for Pier B requires border control. A non-Schengen connection may also require another security screening, depending on the arriving journey.

From Pier B, follow signs back through Connector toward the common halls and descend to the railway station on level -1. There is no outdoor transfer or second station.

Pier A is reached through Connector, not by bus or train. Whether the connection adds passport or security checks depends on the Schengen status of the arriving and departing flights.

Put the assistance request into your booking through the carrier; the official cut-off is 48 hours before departure. Lifts connect the terminal and station.
