Cancún International has four terminal buildings, but only three are open today. Terminal 2 handles Volaris, VivaAerobus and most of the Latin American and Caribbean carriers; Terminal 3 is where American, Delta and United check in, alongside a run of Spanish charter airlines; Terminal 4, the newest, splits Aeroméxico’s domestic flights from a mixed international side of European and US low-cost carriers. The map shows a fourth building, west of the other three: Terminal 1, marked closed. ASUR’s own CEO told investors on 24 July 2026 that he expects it back in the fourth quarter of 2026, not before, and ADO — the bus operator serving the other three terminals — confirms it independently by simply leaving Terminal 1 off its pickup list. Each terminal building sits some distance from the next, so confirm yours on your booking before you leave: this is not an airport where a short walk fixes a wrong guess.

The shaded buildings are the terminals as they operate today, with names verified by us — the base map’s own labels can lag behind reality. Blue P squares mark the official car parks that publish a name; the dark square is the station.
