OpenStreetMap shows two separate terminal buildings at LGBIA, about two kilometres apart: one named “Terminal 1” and one named “Terminal 2”. The airport’s own site is not consistent about which name applies where — every passenger-service page (parking, transport, DigiYatra, lounges, the transit hotel) calls the operating terminal “Terminal 1”, while the airline table and phone directory call it “T2”. A newly built integrated terminal began commercial operations on 22 February 2026, lifting capacity to 13.1 million passengers a year with 21 domestic destinations and three international routes to Bangkok, Paro in Bhutan, and Singapore — it is a reasonable guess that this is the “Terminal 2” shown here, but no official page confirms it outright, so both outlines are labelled with their OpenStreetMap names rather than a guessed role.

The shaded buildings are the terminals as they operate today, with names verified by us — the base map’s own labels can lag behind reality. Blue P squares mark the official car parks that publish a name; the dark square is the station.
