One compact passenger building carries the entire airport operation. Inside, HIAL lists customer-service and car-hire points, shops and hospitality outlets, plus free Wi-Fi for the length of your visit. The most distinctive flights are Loganair’s links with Kirkwall, Stornoway and Sumburgh, confirmed on both the airport and airline sites.
Inverness still limits liquids to containers of 100ml in a clear plastic bag, removed from cabin baggage for screening; electronic devices may also need to come out. GOV.UK warns that limits vary by airport, so the current HIAL rule is the one to follow here.
Inverness Airport railway station is not attached to the terminal. Follow the signed, well-lit path around the airfield perimeter; HIAL warns that the route is uncovered.
Assistance can start in the car park and continue through the terminal to the aircraft; request it at least 48 hours ahead. A Changing Places room opposite check-in has a ceiling hoist, adult changing bench and adjustable-height sink, and the airport also participates in the Sunflower lanyard scheme.
