Terminal A
The main building, built during the airport’s 2003 reconstruction. It is the only one of the two that handles non-Schengen routes — flights to the UK, Turkey and the UAE among them — alongside Schengen departures, and it holds the customs desk for VAT-refund stamping (Level 0, Arrivals).
26 check-in counters at the main entrance. Luxair passengers on 06:00–09:00 departures can check in luggage the previous evening, between 19:30 and 22:30.
The Fast Lane gate — for the small set of airlines that sell it as a ticket add-on (Air Dolomiti, KLM, LOT, Lufthansa, Luxair, SWISS, TAP) — is on Level 0, right by check-in counter 26; it can only be bought when booking the flight, never at the terminal.
Terminal B is reached from inside, on the level -1 corridor (the “Passerelle”) — no need to leave the secure area or clear security twice.
The Sunflower lanyard for hidden disabilities is free at the Information Desk in front of the check-in counters, open 04:00–23:00 daily. Wheelchair assistance is requested through the airline at least 72 hours ahead; reduced-mobility parking (40 spaces) is in the underground A/B car park.
