Read Munich Airport from west to east as a sequence, not as one continuous terminal. Terminal 1 is organized in modules A–E. The Munich Airport Center (MAC) occupies the middle ground between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, with the S-Bahn station beneath it; Terminal 1 is reached directly from the MAC ground floor, while the public route to Terminal 2 crosses the MAC Forum. Terminal 2’s gates G and H remain in the main building, shaded here as its own block. Gates J, K and L belong to the satellite shown further east across the apron, and that gap cannot be crossed on foot: the underground shuttle train is required and takes about one minute. Hall F is another separate building between T1 and T2, approached on foot through the public area — it appears on the map without a shaded outline of its own, since no flight uses it directly.
The shaded buildings are the terminals as they operate today, with names verified by us — the base map’s own labels can lag behind reality. Blue P squares mark the official car parks that publish a name; the dark square is the station.
