A single building that has grown by four extensions since becoming a limited company in 1987, still under one roof today. KLM’s multiple daily Amsterdam flights are the hub connection; Loganair flies Aberdeen year-round and Jersey in summer; Ryanair, only here since 2024, covers Alicante, Faro and Malta; and TUI, Transun and Newmarket Holidays run the leisure charters, Lapland included every winter.
The airport advises checking in at least 2 hours before departure. If you’ve already checked in online with hold baggage, you must still be inside the terminal 45 minutes before departure; travelling with hand baggage only, you can go straight through security. Either way, be at the gate no later than 30 minutes before your flight leaves.
Norwich keeps to the pre-2024 screening limit — 100 ml containers, in one clear resealable bag no bigger than 20cm x 20cm — and hasn’t dropped that bag requirement the way some nearby regionals now have. Fast Track Security costs £7, sold only at the Customer Services desk on the day of travel, and is free for KLM’s top tiers and Loganair’s W class.
There is no railway station on site. Norwich’s own city-centre station is a 20-minute taxi ride from the terminal, with no dedicated shuttle bus covering that specific gap.
A PRM help desk operates in the terminal building daily, 07:00–18:00, on 07833 403 180; book assistance with your airline at least 48 hours ahead. The airport publishes service-level waiting targets — 10 minutes if booked (25 if not) for 80% of outbound assistance.
