Stuttgart’s four terminals sit side by side, with every level directly connected to the others — the map shows why monitors at the Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 entrances exist at all: a passenger can walk between check-in halls without leaving the building. Terminal 2 stands out as departures-only; the other three handle both departures and arrivals. The S-Bahn stops directly below the terminal complex, while the U6 light rail uses a separate stop, ‘Flughafen/Messe’, about a 5-minute walk away — a name it shares with the neighbouring Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre. The Stuttgart Airport Bus Terminal (SAB), the coach hub, sits between Flughafenstraße and Terminal 4, built into car park P14. Each shaded building on the map carries the terminal number the airport itself uses on its check-in counters, so the four blocks below line up with the numbering on the ground.
The shaded buildings are the terminals as they operate today, with names verified by us — the base map’s own labels can lag behind reality. Blue P squares mark the official car parks that publish a name; the dark square is the station.
