Inside each terminal

Check-in, security, the station link and how to change terminals — verified against the airport's own pages.

Passenger terminal

The building Aena describes as themed on Sevilla’s own architecture — the mosque, the palace and the orange grove — opened on 31 July 1991, ahead of the 1992 Universal Exhibition. It is the only terminal at the airport: OpenStreetMap maps it as a single structure, and its own surveyor note (arrivals on the ground floor, departures one floor up) matches what Aena publishes about check-in and boarding independently.

Check-in

Desks 1 to 10, on the ground floor of the terminal — Aena recommends allowing extra time regardless of how far ahead you check in online.

Security

Boarding gates B11, B18, C21, C23 and 9 open off a single floor (P1) past the security checkpoint, alongside a large duty-free and dining area. A bookable Fast Lane speeds up that checkpoint — valid three months, included with some business or loyalty cards — but it does not shorten the recommended arrival window.

Accessibility

The Barrier Free assistance service takes bookings at least 48 hours ahead by phone ((+34) 91 321 10 00, open 7:00 to 00:00) or online, with signposted meeting points across the terminal and car parks. Passengers using it are asked to arrive two and a half hours before departure and check in at their airline desk.
