Quito keeps to one terminal building, expanded in 2025 rather than duplicated, which is why this map shows a single shaded outline instead of a North/South split. The road that dominates it is the Ruta Viva, the highway the Municipality of Quito built specifically to connect Tababela — and the airport inside it — to the rest of the city, though the Interoceánica/E35 and the Vía Collas also reach the site; there is no rail line or metro on this map to compete with any of them. The Wyndham hotel stands within the airport complex, a free shuttle ride from the doors rather than a walk. At 2,400 metres above sea level, this is one of the highest airport sites the map catalogue covers.

The shaded buildings are the terminals as they operate today, with names verified by us — the base map’s own labels can lag behind reality. Blue P squares mark the official car parks that publish a name; the dark square is the station.
