It is not simply domestic-versus-international. By the airport’s own airline directory, Alliance Air and Star Air fly only from Terminal 1, while Air India and Air India Express fly only from Terminal 2 — even on domestic routes. IndiGo, Akasa Air and SpiceJet split their domestic schedules between both terminals by flight number, so check your booking confirmation rather than assuming from the airline name.
