Mumbai’s two terminals sit roughly two kilometres apart in a straight line — our own measurement from the OpenStreetMap building outlines — with ordinary city roads in between and no shortcut through security. Terminal 1, on the left, is the all-domestic building on the site of the old Santacruz airport; Terminal 2, to the right, is the international terminal everyone still calls Sahar, and the only one where Air India, Air India Express and every foreign carrier land. The free Inter-Terminal Coach connecting them runs 24 hours a day roughly every 25 minutes — there is no path across the airfield itself. Both outlines carry names we checked against the airport’s own airline directory rather than whatever OpenStreetMap happened to record.
The shaded buildings are the terminals as they operate today, with names verified by us — the base map’s own labels can lag behind reality. Blue P squares mark the official car parks that publish a name; the dark square is the station.
