Riga runs on a single terminal building, so the map has one passenger outline to read rather than a pair to compare — every airline on the field, from home carrier airBaltic to Ryanair and Lufthansa, checks in and boards through the same doors. The four official car parks (P1 through P4) ring the terminal on its landside; P1 sits closest, right outside the entrance and exit. What the map cannot show yet is the airport’s next chapter: the high-speed Rail Baltica line is under construction past the terminal, and both the airport’s own Master Plan and the project’s own progress page describe the station and airport connection as still being built, not open — the shaded outline you see today is the terminal as it operates now, before that line arrives.
The shaded buildings are the terminals as they operate today, with names verified by us — the base map’s own labels can lag behind reality. Blue P squares mark the official car parks that publish a name; the dark square is the station.
